What Is It?
Do you ever try to imagine what life beyond "Happily Ever After" in fairy tales would be like? Well you should definitely watch Into The Woods. This play follows the trials and tribulations of well-known fairy tale characters Cinderella, Rapunzel, Jack (from Jack and the Beanstalk), Red Riding Hood and more as they all go into the deep, dark woods on separate quests. Their paths cross and intersect with sometimes amusing, and at times alarming, results. This isn't your childhood fairy tale! Oh no! This play provides intellectual and emotional satisfaction as fairy tales collide with the real world.
So what happens when Prince Charming loses his charm? What if the evil witch was actually a broken-hearted woman? What if Red Riding Hood isn't so little and the wolf wasn't so big and bad? Well head to Montecasino and find out.
