As interesting as it is to see a deserted City of Gold, we urge all South Africans to do their part in flattening the curve. The country is under lockdown for a reason and we ask that you respect that. Social distancing is the most powerful way that we can slow down the spread of COVID-19.

Inner City Pressure
Photojournalists have embedded themselves with the South African Police Force and South African National Defense Force to alleviate pressure in certain parts of the city, such as Yeoville and Hillbrow. The Constitutional Court has also been closed during the outbreak, as pictured below.
