Over the past six years, the HosepiceWits Night with the Stars event has attracted more than 100 local performing artists, fashion designers, celebrities and influencers, who graciously offered their time, free of charge, to walk the longest red carpet in Africa. It is no surprise that this has become the “seen-and-be-seen” event on the Johannesburg fashion calendar. Due to COVID-19 and the subsequent lockdown, HospiceWits will not be able to take the esteemed annual fashion extravaganza to a physical runway. Instead, we will be meeting in the social media stratosphere, to celebrate this glamorous night with an even larger global audience. Hosted by HospiceWits, and proudly presented by Umzingeli Productions and About Entertainment, “Night with the Stars – Lounge Edition” is set to take place via Instagram on Tuesday 28 July 2020. HospiceWits Night with the Stars 2020 will let the spotlight fall on the creative industries, which have been severely affected by the lockdown. Between 18:00 and 22:00 on Tuesday, 28 July, more than 100 celebrities, performing artists, fashion designers, musicians, influencers, dancers, makeup artists and hairstylists will be interacting with their fans on Instagram and asking their followers to donate to HospiceWits Night with the Stars.When Is It?
