Why go? The festival started in India but has since grown in popularity worldwide due to it's unique nature. Guests buy little bags of coloured powder(R20/100 grams) and then throw the powder into the air or at someone each hour from 13h00 onwards. The powder being thrown around creates a sight unachievable otherwise, a spectacle that has to be seen. Where is it? Emmarentia Dam, Johannesburg When is it?
