What Is It?
Castle Lite will bring to life an immersive concert experience. Hip Hop Herstory will highlight the role women have played in the evolution of Hip-Hop. Hosted by LootLove, Lee Kasumba and Angela Yee (The Breakfast Club), it will be a concert like no other. The concert will feature artists like: Nadia Nakai, Rouge, Moozlie, Gigi Lamayne, Roxanne Shante and Young M.A, to name a few.
Hip Hop Herstory is not just another concert featuring “female artists”, it’s an immersive experience that takes audience members on a musical evolution through forms of dance, DJing, exhibitions, visual storytelling and interactive elements.
Some of the ticket proceeds will go towards a mentorship program aimed at supporting up-and-coming female Hip-Hop artists.
This event is not suitable for children under 18.
