What Is It? Curated by DJ Kenzhero and Thandi Ntuli, the series features new wave Jazz, Funk, Afrobeats, Hip-hop and Soul artists from across Africa and around the world. The June edition features the incredible Johannesburg born singer and songwriter Melo B. Jones, known for her warm soul vocals and innovative live performance, she will bring her loop station layered with the untitled basement’s resident band featuring (Thembinkosi Mavikela on bass, Wandile Molefe on piano, Sam Ibeh on drums and Sthembiso Bhengu on trumpet), the collective will perform Melo B.
