Would you like to know what we love about music festivals, weekend markets and the like? The food trucks. And in recent months the food truck scene has exploded. Due to this, that the lads and ladies behind the Good & Proper Food Truck Eatery decided to round up the best Jozi mobile eateries and set them up in a parking lot at Benmore Gardens Shopping Centre.
Fan favourites Balkan Burgers, StrEAT Cuisine and the Brohemian are all there in full force; with Jozi Car Bar supplying the drinks. The vibe is good and the food is fantastic. Visitors are spoiled for choice as there's everything from loxion style street food to gourmet burgers and pizzas. Seeing as the weather is picking up, a lot of the coffee guys have switched over to iced coffee which is a huge blessing as the heat rolls in. Another fan favourite would be Zombie Chefs with their amazing sandwiches and tasty creations... you need to check them out and see what everyone's raving about.
The venue itself is quite interesting as it's set in the parking lot of Benmore Shopping Centre. There is also an ample amount of shade and seating available, so you don't have to stand around with a pizza box in one hand and a cocktail in the other whilst trying to shovel slices into your mouth in a very awkward way.
