Music lovers, this is a show you don't want to miss! Paying tribute to the music legends we all loved, who passed away before their time,
Gone Too Soon will be on stage
for two shows ONLY at Gold Reef City this October, bringing these beloved artists back to life through their timeless music. The show will delight audiences of all ages as they celebrate the powerhouse singers that became legends through their songs over the past few decades.
Be transported back in time and take an unforgettable journey of pure nostalgia and heart-warming moments, as homage is paid to a diverse selection of some of the greats. This includes
Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Freddie Mercury, Luther Vandross, George Michael, Elvis Presley, David Bowie, Prince, Amy Winehouse, Nat King Cole, Natalie Cole, John Lennon and many more. The lineup will also feature late South African artists such as
Brenda Fassie and Mandoza.
While the show pays tribute to these music icons who have left us too soon, the atmosphere will be uplifting and focus on the memories their music still evokes in all of us, as well as the impact that so many of them have made on the industry and world as a whole.
Three of South Africa’s most talented vocalists
Timothy Moloi, Joseph Clark and Mariechan (of Jamali and
Popstars fame) will set the stage alight as they perform these instantly recognisable hits. An exciting collaboration is the inclusion of the superb
Johannesburg Youth Orchestra, who'll join the vocalists for an unforgettable musical experience.
