Every year, during the last week of October, the Glenshiel Christmas Fair kicks off the festive season a smidge early. With only 8 weeks until Christmas 2022, why not visit the Glenshiel Christmas Fair to do all your shopping? As the saying goes: the early bird catches the worm.
Nestled in the beautiful gardens of the Glenshiel Estate in Westcliff, you'll find a lovely festive wonderland showcasing more than 80 small business owners setting up shop to highlight their carefully chosen wares perfect for the holiday season. Travelling from as far as the Cape and Natal Midlands, these business owners and stall vendors will be offering market goers some of the most stylish and ‘on-trend’ products.
What To Expect?
Market goers and shoppers can expect to explore and find luxury offerings such as beautifully crafted bags and accessories, unique and trendy clothing, stunning jewellery and scarves.
There'll also be gorgeous linens and home décor, bespoke stationery, as well as handcrafted Christmas decorations, cakes and cookies.
There will also be delicious and moreish treats served from their various food vendors, catering to all tastes.
The "Feel Good" Factor
The Glenshiel Christmas Fair is not just an ‘everyday market. And it’s not just about shopping. There's a ‘feel good’ factor with your visit. All profits will go towards the work of the Order of St John (NPO 000-814) to further their eye care and community health care projects and partnerships.
Last year, the Glenshiel Christmas Fair raised sufficient funds to convert a vehicle into a mobile eye clinic, which visits communities who don't have access to affordable, professional eye care services. This vehicle will be at this year’s fair, so pop in to see it. And for you good deed this festive season, buy a raffle ticket to support this vital initiative. You could win one of many hampers full of amazing prizes donated by the fair's stall holders.
Street parking is available but every limited, so rather take an Uber or Bolt – no parking, no fuss! Just arrive, shop and go when you're done.

When Is It?
The Glenshiel Christmas Fair will be taking place from Wednesday, 26 October 2022 to Sunday, 30 October 2022.
Times of the Glenshiel Christmas Fair are as follows:
- Wednesday, 26 October 2022 from 17:00 to 21:00 – Preview Evening (limited tickets available through Quicket)
- Thursday, 27 October 2022 from 09:00 – 18:00 – Open to the public
- Friday, 28 October 2022: 09:00 to 18:00 – Open to the public
- Saturday, 29 October 2022: 09:00 to 17:00 – Open to the public
- Sunday, 30 October 2022: 09:00 to 16:00 – Open to the public

How Much Is Entry?
Daily tickets to the Glenshiel Christmas Fair costs R150 per person, and children under the age of 12 get FREE entry.
Public tickets are on sale now at Quicket.co.za. Alternately, you can also purchase tickets on the day at the gate.
Ticket prices are as follows:
- Children under 12 enter for FREE.
- Adults: 1 day pass – R75 per person | 3 day pass – R100 per person.
- Preview Evening: R250 per person and tickets are available at Quicket.
