If you still haven’t been to the largest 1-day beer festival, we suggest you put it on your to-do list. The ever-popular, annual German School Bierfest is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
To be held at the Randburg Sports Ground, corner Republic Road and Silver Pine Avenue (off Hans Strijdom), the event will take place on Saturday, 12th of May 2007 from 09h00 to 19h00. There will be loads of food vendors (selling predominantly German food, like Eisbein, Sauerkraut, Bratwurst and salads, as well as burgers, pizzas, curry, biltong etc.), 4 beer tents to provide South African, German and other beers, a wide selection of music (see below) and so much more. Don’t miss it!
