What Is It? The Free State Madeira Flower Festival is for people who love everything to do with flowers and florals. It will be a weekend filled with hundreds of thousands of flowers, exquisite floats, performers as well as giant flower puppets performing around a spectacular flower precinct in a Disney-like flower story. Last year's festival wowed guests as they celebrated the lives of Tata Nelson Mandela and Mama Albertina Sisulu on their centenary. This year, Madeiran flower artists will yet again create breathtaking flower carpets for all to enjoy. The festival has a host of activities that cater for everyone, so don't miss it! When Is It?
