Salman Ali & Nitin Kumar, Live at Emerald, For One Night Only
The winner of season 10 of
Indian Idol, Salman Ali, and 5th runner up in the same season, Nitin Kumar, will be showcasing their talent at the Vaal’s premier leisure and business destination Emerald Resort and Casino on Saturday, 26 March in the Arena.
"We are thrilled to welcome international stars back to our resort and look forward to the magic these two celebrated artists create when they are on stage together", says Tanuja Gangabishun, Executive Marketing Manager at Emerald Resort and Casino. “We are excited to be working with Panache International again,” confirms Tanuja.
Salman Ali shot into the spotlight in 2011 on Zee TV’s popular music reality show,
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs, where he was the first runner up. Nitin Kumar was also selected for the same show in 2011, where he vowed all three judges. In December 2018 Salman Ali was crowned winner of
Indian Idol season 10, and as they say, the rest is history. After winning the show, he appeared in a few episodes of
Zameen with Salim Suleman.
Nitin Kumar specialises in Sufi music and can transform essential tunes into classical masterpieces. He has voiced Nazaare and Beete Nahin Rehna in
Raja Abroadiya and singing
Tere Naal Bitae in the Punjabi movie
Kacche Dhaagey. Hans Raj Hans, Gurdas Mann, and Master Salim were among the notable Punjabi artists who shared the stage with Nitin. He, too, has been a firm favorite with audiences in South Africa due to his amazing on-stage personality.
