The Fun Never Stops at Sun City
If you're visiting
Sun City over the
festive season with your little ones, they're in for a real treat as there'll be
bucket loads of fun for them to look forward to! Sun City has gone all out to ensure that everyday is jam-packed with thrilling activities and games; whether it's joining
Kamp Kwena’s pre-teens programme or enjoying the lazy days of summer, doing all the fun stuff like swimming and sliding at the Valley of Waves, playing adventure golf or enjoying other favourite resort entertainment.
There's a Holiday Programme
School holidays are not complete without loads of exciting activities and thrills for the little ones and Sun City has just the thing. The
Kamp Kwena programme will be running from
Saturday, 15 December 2018 to Sunday, 06 January 2019, offering kids a variety of holiday fun including resort outings and friendly rivalry games such as maze challenges, tug-o-war, ice-cream eating contests, Pin-the-nose-on-Rudolf, dash-for-cash, pick-a-box shows, hoola-hoop contests, balloon and tombola toss, musical games and scavenger hunts at the hotel pool decks from 11:00 to 17:00 daily (weather permitting).
Other holiday activities include face painting, biscuit decorating, fancy dress, mini-discos and marshmallow braais. The daily activity programme will be available from the Concierge Desk at each hotel. Young ones between the ages of 3 and 12 years can choose to participate in selected sessions or the full-day workshop.
Parents, Need A Break?
Tiny tots also get to join in on the holiday fun! A
creche facility is available at
Soho Hotel to take care of the littlest ones aged between 1 and 2 years, charged at an hourly rate. And if mom and dad feel like enjoying a date night out or an event during the evening, evening sessions are available for kids aged between 5 to 12 year-old from 19:00 to 21:30.
As For The Teens...
Once again, Sun City will provide visiting teenagers, aged between 13 and 17, with a chilled and safe environment where they can connect, socialise and 'party'.
The Teen Zone at The Crater, located in the entertainment hub at
Sun Central will have DJs on the decks, loads of entertainment as well as interactive games to keep them entertained.
Entrance is FREE and the sessions are from 19:00 to 23:00 on certain nights between 15 December 2018 and 05 January 2019. Food and refreshments will be on sale.
It's Time To Celebrate!
Christmas is all about spending quality time with family, so on Christmas Eve, children can join their parents for some
beautiful carol singing in the Sun Arena. And to round off the festivities on a high-note, Santa Claus and his elves will be visiting Sun City for
snow-filled fun at the Cabanas lawns on Christmas Day.
There'll also be a
New Year’s Eve Bash suitable for children aged 5 to 12, hosted by Kamp Kwena at The Crater. The exciting celebrations include dinner and entertainment, so booking is essential. Children must be registered at Kamp Kwena to attend the New Year’s Eve Bash. The party will take place from 19:00 to 22:00.
