Esencia Flamenca Brings Spanish Flare To Joburg Theatre

What Is It?

Joburg based Spanish dance company El Rincon Flamenco has been training dancers in the art of Flamenco for 25 years. Their eight professional dancers will present Esencia Flamenca, a visual feast showcasing passion, drama and rhythmic tapas for the soul, at the Joburg Theatre this May. Directly translated as the ‘Essence of Flamenco’, this dance piece embodies the true spirit of flamenco and its inexplicable mysticism. The performance will be in honour of acclaimed Spanish poet and theatre director, Federico García Lorca. Dance fans, make sure to get your tickets to this rhythmic extravaganza. You may even be inspired to get some dance lessons of your own!
