Enjoy Sweet Treats At The Chill Zone

If you’ve spent a Saturday or Sunday afternoon strolling through the stunning Lifestyle Garden Centre in Randburg, you’ll know that there is plenty to do there. There is also plenty to eat! On my last visit, I stumbled upon a colourful store called The Chill Zone, which opened on 27 August. Naturally, I had to check it out. Let me just say that I have the biggest sweet tooth, so anywhere I can enjoy something sweet is brilliant in my book. I also believe that nothing is better than a smoothie on a sunny day. With that said, I decided to look around the store to see what they had on offer – and they had a lot! From frozen yoghurt to ice cream and yummy pastries, it was a sugar junkie’s paradise. They even have a ‘Waffle on a Stick’! Honestly, I didn’t know where to start… so I took the simple route and went with their Apple and White Chocolate smoothie (R32). My husband, Brenden, went with the Ferrero Rocher gourmet milkshake (R35). They were both so creamy and satisfying (yes, I tried a little of his milkshake too… I had to). *Prices correct at time of writing. The Chill Zone is a one-stop sweet shop, with every kind of sugary delight you could dream off (I instantly regretted my decision to try and be healthy-ish this month). Anyway, one thing’s for sure: when all this is over, I’m definitely going back… I deserve a sweet treat every now and then... and so do you. So, why not go ahead and pay them a visit, Darlings?
