From 14 - 24 December 2018, Cresta will be hosting
11 days of live entertainment and fun for the whole family. You can expect everything from memorable moments with Santa Claus, making festive decorations and cookies at the craft zones, free gift wrapping and extended shopping hours to shopper competitions, meeting your favourite cartoon characters at the Cartoon Network activation and give the gift of kindness through our Festive Charity Tree, Cresta is the place to get into the holiday spirit! After all, ‘tis the season to be merry!
Meet The One & Only Santa Claus
Make sure to take the kids to Cresta so they can share their Christmas wishes with the beloved and jolly,
Santa Claus. You can also make special, festive memories by posing for pictures in the
Santa Zone in the
FNB Court. Don't forget to grab your instant print to take home with you for only R40 each.
Live Entertainment
To add more jingles to the bells this festive season, shoppers can enjoy live, pop-up entertainment on
Fridays (14 and 21 December 2018),
Saturdays (15 and 22 December 2018) and
Sundays (16 and 23 December 2018). Included is a line-up of a variety of performers that'll bring holiday cheer and joy to the centre.
Holiday Fun For The Kids
The kids are now on school holidays, so what are parents to do to keep them entertained? Well, Cresta has the answer! There’s plenty to keep the little ones busy and spark some innovation and talent this festive season! Take them down to the
Kids Craft Zone in the
Banking Court, where they can make festive decorations with recycled materials or adorn their own festive cookies at the
Cookie Decorating Station.
And in the
Food Court (upper level), kids can learn how to draw cartoon characters at the
Imagination Studios and create their very own Power Puff avatar to print out and take home with them. There'll also be a
Cartoon Network meet-and-greet with characters from the hit shows
Adventure Time and
The Amazing World of Gumball on Fridays, (14 and 21 December 2018) Saturdays (15 and 22 December 2018) and Sundays (16 and 23 December 2018).
Give Back To The Community This Christmas
The award-winning
Cresta Festive Charity Tree will make a comeback this year, after the great support shown by shoppers in 2017, which resulted in over 5 000 books being donated to the local Tshepo Community Development Project Library. The charity tree can be found in the Banking Court and will once again allow shoppers to donate this festive season. It's a giant tree decorated with nametags of children from local partner children's homes and what they wish for this Christmas. Cresta shoppers will be able to select a name from the tree, purchase a small gift (toy or clothing) for the child and drop it off for Cresta’s team to wrap and distribute. The bookshelf tree will also be available for more book donations.
Don't Forget The Free Gift Wrapping & Extended Shopping Hours
To thank their shoppers for all the support, Cresta will take care of wrapping your gifts at their free gift-wrapping stations so that you can spend your time enjoying your shopping.
