Gravity is what defines and brings together both Fox mountain bike and CrankChaos. The speed, the adrenaline and the air are what sets both Fox and CrankChaos apart from the competition. CrankChaos is an event that perfectly reflects the Fox attitude and we are excited to be part of his event again - CrankChaos 2018 is going to be one for the books!
Returning for its second year, Fox Enduro, as the name suggests, is the ultimate test of endurance. With a compulsory 400m ascent to the start of the first stage; a combination of altitude and technical trails make this event one
of Southern Africa’s most exciting Enduro races. The Fox Enduro consists of rough and tough Maluti trail and a variety of technical features. Think 2m “Hero Drops”, sheer slopes and hairpin tight switchbacks. After three grueling stages, the Fox Enduro culminates in a long descent to the riverside for a pop-up party finish. Afriski Mountain Resort has made huge investments over the years to become a mountain biking destination. The variety of trails and tracks, extensive lodging options and Sky Restaurant make it the perfect venue for CrankChaos. There are a variety of accommodation packages and festival passes available for CrankChaos 2018. You can purchase passes for each of the individual events you wish to enter or simply purchase a full package at a discount.
Not much of a rider? No worries, there's tonnes to do besides catch a glimpse of the action. There is a wide variety of packages put together for spectators who also wish to be a part of the fun. Afriski Mountain Resort is home to the famous Sky restaurant and as well as the range of on-site facilities, bars and scenery. This year’s festival will also include awesome live evening entertainment to go along with the traditional world class Afriski hospitality.
