There’s no getting around it, with imposed travel bans and a fear of spaces that encourage people in their numbers, we can’t but help dream of faraway places that conjure up images of remote isolation and the ideal of even living off the land. While we don’t believe in fear-mongering, we do feel like perhaps we all need a healthy dose of travel inspo to take our minds off the hand sanitisers and surgical masks. So let’s mind-travel to these incredible pin drops on the map, where “hard to reach” and “wildly remote” doesn’t even cut it.

Wolwehoek, Montagu
