Sam Smith
Sam Smith first hit the charts as the featured singer on the duo Disclosure’s 2012 song,
Latch, and released his first single,
Lay Me Down, soon afterwards. Next, Smith performed the vocals on Naughty Boy’s Bollywood-inspired
La La La and the song became an instant number-one single in the UK in 2013. Then came his first EP,
Nirvana. In 2014,
In The Lonely Hour was released, his heartfelt debut, full-length album, which has sold 13 million copies globally. The album included the smash hit,
Stay With Me, a radio staple over the course of the entire year. Smith was nominated for six GRAMMY® Awards and won four, including Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
The Thrill of It All, which has already sold four million copies, sees Smith once again working alongside close friend and long-time collaborator, Jimmy Napes, as well as the likes of Timbaland, Malay, Jason ‘Poo Bear’ Boyd and Stargate. The album also sees him collaborate with unsigned artist, YEBBA for their breathtaking track,
No Peace.

The Rand Show
Since 1894, the Rand Show has been an easter time tradition to many Joburgers. This year the festival will be kicked up a notch with cosplayers, Fortnite, and an amazing collection of food and market vendors.
