What Is It? The Snow Goose is a timeless classic based on the Paul Gallico short story of the same title. A chance encounter between a recluse, named Philip Rhayader, and a young girl, Firth, blossoms as they nurse an injured wild goose back to health in the marshes of Essex in the 1930s. As the chaos of war intrudes, their idyllic world turns upside down. With the use of masks, ingenious staging and the performance skills of Taryn Bennett and James Cairns, director Jenine Collocott has created a theatre gem that has enthralled audiences all over the country.
