Owner Jimmy Hibbert opened the bakery with the hopes of providing customers with more than just the standard bakery fare. Not Bread Alone prides themselves on serving only top quality products, including the tastiest homemade pies made with 100% meat and fresh produce. Their bakery selection also includes a variety of breads such as rye bread, French loaf, paninis, date bread and crisp rolls. We've heard great things about their croissants and custard Danish, too. Coffee Shop & Café
Nothing goes better together than coffee and cake. That's why Not Bread Alone also has a restaurant sit-down area. You can enjoy a wide variety of baked goods, light meals, and specialty dishes here. One of their biggest attractions is their pizza. At just R20 a slice it's an absolute steal! The restaurant also caters for the lunch time rush with daily meals. On Wednesdays they serve their famous lasagna, so make sure to book your seat in advance. In a hurry? Grab one of their signature sandwiches to go. Filled with your choice of protein or veg, these sandwiches come served on a buttery, toasted croissant. We can't think of a tastier lunch time treat, can you?
