What Is It?

The Centre For The Less Good Idea is an interdisciplinary arts centre founded by acclaimed fine arts master William Kentridge. Situated in the heart of the Maboneng precinct, the centre offers artist an open space to experiment, test and even discard new work in production. The successful works formed as part of these workshops are curated and performed over two seasons each year. The centre enters its final production season for the year in October. This will be their sixth season in total, and it promises to be an exciting one at that. Following a five-day programme, the season will showcase the work of various notable artists and performers. Curated by architect and urban designer Thiresh Govender and dancer and choreographer Sello Pesa. Don't miss it! For a detailed breakdown of the programme, click here.
