My Dog Buddy, in partnership with the James & Ethel Gray Park Foundation, is excited to present a proposal for the National Walk My Dog Day to be held on 29 September 2024, in the picturesque settings of Melrose and its surroundings.
This event is envisioned to be a celebration of our furry friends, promoting healthy activities, family bonding, and the joys of pet ownership, while showcasing the best in the Pet Industry and Lifestyle Brands.
What To Expect
Wondering what to expect at this event? We can tell you that you'll have a fun-filled and exciting day! Here's the entertainment lineup for the day:
- Welcome and opening by the Event Organisers and Ethel and Gray Park Foundation as well as Emergency briefing.
- Scenic Dog Walk: Guided walks through James & Ethel Gray Park, capitalizing on its beautiful trails and views followed by a Puppy Yoga.
- Pet Industry Showcase: Exhibition of the latest products, services, and innovations in pet care.
- High Tea: Garden Setting for both Humans and Pets with gourmet High Tea menus and treats. (High Tea pre-booking only).
- Adoption Parade: Their Charity of Choice is Woodrock Animal Rescue and they will facilitate the Charity Adoption Parade.
- Fashion Show: Fur Baby Fashion Show will run along-side Adoption Parade, and enjoyed during the duration of the High Tea as well.
- Educational Programme: Geared to present the partners’ brand positioning as well as providing educational talks.
- Children and Pet Activities: Engaging activities designed for children and pets, including obstacle courses for all Pups, training workshops, and more.
- Charity Raffle: A raffle with proceeds going to local animal shelters, encouraging community support and participation.
- Entertainment: Soft Music in line with the Pet’s acceptable Standard.
- Food Stalls: Local Flavours will be on offer. This year we bring you, your favourite brands including your Furry Companion’s treats, Puppuccinos, Cupcakes, Doggy Ice-creams and many more!
