What Is It?
October marks Cancer Awareness Month and many different cancer-related awareness campaigns occur throughout this month. One such campaign is the CANSA 5km Walk or Ride at Rietvlei Zoo Farm. This event is all about celebrating cancer survivors. Visitors and participants are urged to dress in pink and blue with fun accessories to show their support to all those who kicked cancer's butt.
There will be a market and food stalls available, live entertainment, as well as prizes and goodie bags to be won. Plus, don't miss out on the Survivors Balloon Ceremony. So bring your friends and family along and come show your support for a really good cause. All proceeds made will be used for promoting cancer awareness.
