Boswell Wilkie Circus Show

Joburg Admin / June 27, 2008

Breaking news! Candyfloss, popcorn and the smell of sawdust... once again... Saturday, 12th and Sunday, 13th of July The flags are flying on the Big Top, signalling that it's circus time again on the Boswell Wilkie farm. Aerial artistes, acrobats, Susie Wilkie's brand new pony act, goats, dogs and, of course, clowns offer fun-filled family entertainment for two shows only on Saturday, 12th and Sunday, 13th of July, at 12h00. Part of the proceeds will go to a local boy (11), who was diagnosed with bone cancer in his right arm in February. After a ground-breaking operation in Cape Town, the boy is home with part of his arm replaced by a prosthesis of titanium. He is still on chemotherapy and has to return to Cape Town every six months. The shows will be held at the Boswell Wilkie Circus Farm, Plot 116 Springbok Road, Randvaal. Tickets are R65 per person, with R10 of each ticket earmarked for this boy's fund. A special collection will also be taken. There is a discounted price for groups of 30 or more for schools, crèches and pensioners with a special show for schools and groups on Thursday, 10th of July 10h00. For directions see the website alongside. Tickets available at Circus Coffee Shop Contact Annette on the number alongside for bookings for all shows
