What Is It?

Garden Shop Broadacres present their annual Bonsai Show this November. An exhibition of living art, this five day festival is not to be missed. Come and marvel at the ancient art of bonsai, learning how to care for and plant the 'small tree in a pot'. A curated display of these diminutive trees will be on show, including elegant Japanese maple, the rich burgundy leaves and berries of the Chinese sacred bamboo, as well as tropical and evergreen Chinese banyan fig. Talks will also take place on the Saturday and Sunday of the festival. Bonsai curators and hobbyists can pick up all the essentials: from pots, to pruning books and tools, root clippers, soil and organic plant food such as Nitrosol. The Garden Shop also has an array of oriental statues and water features, so you can transform your entire garden into a Chinese-inspired landscape.
