What Is It?
The Standard Bank Gallery welcome you to join them in exploring the works of African artists created between 1970 - 1990. Titled, A Black Aesthetic, this exhibition is the largest exhibition of Black South African Modernists since the dawn of democracy. The gallery is offering select guided tours of the exhibition for art lovers who want to learn a little bit more about the artist's work on show. If you are unable to make it to one of these tours, you are encouraged to walk around the exhibition on your own. This event is a must for anyone with an interest in contemporary African art and entrance is free, so all you art fundi's really have no excuse to miss it.

Walkabout 5 will be held on Saturday, 6 April 2019 from 11:00. Click here to view alternative dates and times. The exhibition closes on 18 April 2019.
