Southern Sun Hyde Park

One of Sandton's most celebrated little gems is the Maxim Lounge with its sophisticated stash of whiskies and cigars. The old cocktail spot has been upgraded and given a gentleman's shave, decked out with new leather seats, and there's a special locker system for your bottles of booze and a great menu. Yeah, sure this doesn't fall under hotel bars, per se, but it's part of a hotel, and it's a bar, right? Right?
