Joburg Ballet and Fairlawns Boutique Hotel & Spa have something special in store for ballet lovers. This August, Ballet Botanica is coming to Fairlawns for a two day dance extravaganza. The first day of shows will see dancers perform under the moonlight, as guests sit beneath a magical Bedouin tent. Then, on the following day, guests will be treated to an afternoon picnic high tea event. Tuck into some delectable treats as the dancers entertain you with their skill, grace and poise. Featured dance pieces include the Pas de Deux from Sleeping Beauty and new choreographed neo-classical pieces from the likes of Kitty Phetla.
This event is in collaboration with Friends of the Ballet, a fund-raising initiative aimed at keeping the Joburg Ballet afloat. This year's fundraising event at Fairlawns Boutique Hotel & Spa goes towards funding new studio mats for the two Joburg Ballet rehearsal studios. So, support this good cause and get your tickets to Ballet Botanica. When Is It? Saturday, 24 August and Sunday, 25 August 2019.
