What Is It?
Marc Lottering is bringing Aunty Merle The Musical to Johannesburg. Lottering once again dons the role of writer and actor in this musical extravaganza. The show is a drama that unfolds in Athlone. Merle's daughter, Abigail, announces her engagement to her boyfriend, Alan, who is — as Merle would put it — "a good-looking white chap". But, as we all know, the course of true love never did run smooth, especially in the world of musicals. Abigail's ex shows up to try and split the pair up. Follow all the drama at the Joburg Theatre.
