33rd Annual Gandhi Walk: Lenasia

What Is It? The walk for a good cause started as a brain stormed vision by the Gandhi Walk Committee (GWC), which has been carried through over the years and has been done annually for fundraising purposes. This is to create an atmosphere of a fun social platform for nation building and community awareness. The Gandhi Walk is mainly focused on good health and inspiring a Community in Unity. The central theme for this year’s Gandhi Walk 2018 is ‘Going green’. Of course there’s more to come, after the walk the participants are to enjoy some fun times the event has to offer as the programme stretches through the day, from 11 am there will be entertainment shows, a supervised Kids Zone, a Green Expo that has a variety of products, services and solutions for greener-living, and medical check-ups conducted by medical professionals from Ahmed Kathrada Private Hospital. And of course food will be sold at the event to entice your taste buds.  Wait! There’s more, 1st, 2nd and 3rd winning male and female walkers will receive trophies. When Is It?
