21 Years of Curating The Cube With The UJ Art Gallery

What Is It?

The UJ Art Gallery moved into its current home at the UJ Art Centre in 2005. During her two decades as gallery curator, Annali Cabano-Dempsey has established this art space as one of Joburg's foremost venues. The gallery will thus be celebrating Cabano-Dempsey's legacy this June, with their new exhibition 21 Years of Curating The Cube. This introspective exhibition promises to offer art lovers a little bit of everything - just as Cabano-Dempsey has done over her career. Expect everything from fine art drawings and paintings, to sculpture and ceramics, performance art, installation art and visual poetry. Entrance is free, so you really have no excuse for not visiting the UJ Art Gallery this month. We'll see you there!

Wednesday, 5 June 2019 - Wednesday, 26 June 2019. The opening night event starts at 18:30 on Wednesday, 5 June 2019.
