2018 SPAR Women's Challenge Joburg

What Is It? The SPAR Women’s Challenge Johanneburg offers women from all walks of life, levels of fitness, shapes and sizes the opportunity to participate in a 5km or 10km road race (walk or run). This challenge is the most popular and inclusive road race in South Africa. The race attracts the country’s top professional female athletes and a vast range of recreational runners. Proceeds from the race are donated to Reach 4 Recovery, an international breast cancer support group. It is affiliated with the International Union Against Cancer (UICC). It is a programme designed to help women with breast cancer in their return to daily life. The Johannesburg SPAR Women’s Challenge race is a key part of the SPAR Grand Prix series – the only competition of its kind in South African road running. The Grand Prix series allows the country's most outstanding female runners to score points across six SPAR Women’s Challenge 10km races and be eligible for cash prizes and other rewards When Is It?
