1000 Drawings Doodle Session at the Rand Club

What Is It?

Bring your sketchpads, completed artworks, or just your inspiration to the Rand Club this March. This historic gentlemen's club will be hosting an official 1000 Drawings Doodle event. The Night of 1000 Drawings exhibition at Victoria Yards is an art-for-charity initiative, changing lives across Johannesburg. Everyone (both amateur and professional artists) are encouraged to create and donate A5 masterpieces. These can be doodles, sketches, paintings, photographs, etchings, embroidery… anything that gets your creative juices flowing! Your one-of-a-kind art pieces are then exhibited and sold for R150 each at the official event which takes place between 27 -29 March 2020. All proceeds are donated to inner city charities. Beneficiaries of 1000 Drawings 2020 are Dlala Nje, Paballo ya Batho, Everybody Love Everybody, Timbuktu in the Valley. Paper, pencils, paint, etc. will be provided at the Rand Club. Food and drinks will be available at the bar. Come and draw your heart out, then pop your completed A5 masterpiece/s into the donation box. Happy doodling!
