Go To The Top Of Ponte City

Admit it: you've wanted to watch the sun set over the City of Gold from the top of Ponte tower since you first laid eyes on it. This is much easier and much more rewarding than you would think. If you've not heard of them before, take a walking tour through Hillbrow and surrounding areas with inner city tour guides Dlala Nje – the tour kicks off from the 52nd floor of the high rise building.

We all know it as Ellis Park; regardless, the notorious venue that went down in our nation's history by hosting the 1995 World Cup Final between South Africa and New Zealand beckons your call. Some say the grass grown on this field can be used to make dreams come true. If you have not seen the Lions roar during a rugby match here then you can't quite call yourself a local just yet.
