What Is It?

The country is currently on lockdown, which means that concerts have been put on hold until further notice. But just because events have been postponed or cancelled, doesn't mean you can't enjoy great music performed by South Africa's top artists from the comfort and safety of your own home.

In celebration of Africa Day, Mall of Africa is inviting you to tune into their Sessions for Africa Day online concert! Expect virtual performances by Toya Delazy, Zolani Mahola and Lira, singing their best hits, live from their homes.

You can enjoy this online concert free of charge, however, viewers are encouraged to show their appreciation by donating using the QR code which will be available during the show. These contributions will go to towards supporting local artists and the Attacq Foundation.

What Is It?

Have you always dreamed of running away to join the circus? If like us you have no talent for acrobatics, magic or death defying feats of gravity, come down to Joburg Theatre this September. After two immensely successful runs in Cape Town in 2017 and 2018, Journey Beyond – A Symphonic Circus will be performed for the first time ever at the Joburg Theatre. So, let your imagination run free as the Symphonic Circus takes over the Nelson Mandela Stage.

Zip Zap Circus School will delight you as they perform near-impossible human feats and mesmerising aerial acts.  Accompanied by the Johannesburg Youth Orchestra and special vocal guests, Zolani Mahola, Brandon October and Zita Pretorius. In celebration of Heritage Month, these young South Africans collaborate to create a world of magic using the art of circus performance against the backdrop of a live orchestra. You definitely won't want to miss this one! Bring the whole family along for a fun and thrilling live theatre experience.
