No other form of sport defies the odds like this one. The day will showcase death-defying manoeuvres from top local and international motocross and freestyle motocross riders.

This action-packed event promises to bring something unforgettable to Montecasino, so be sure not to miss it.

Whip It!

Presented by Pringles, powered by Motul and in association with Monster Energy and PlayStation, King of the Whip is the best whip contest Johannesburg has ever seen.

"A “whip” is one of the most spectacular stunts that can be performed on a motorcycle. It involves highly skilled riders taking off from a ramp, and “whipping” the rear of the bike from side to side. After all the qualifying rounds and exciting final, the rider that performs the biggest whip will be crowned the winner on the night."

You can see some of this action in their Best Trick segment, which will include the likes of the Rock-Solid, Tsunami, Switchblade and many more jaw-dropping moments.

King of the Whip is not just about showcasing tricks, it's also about exceptional skills.

The Fun Begins

“Montecasino is the perfect arena for the 2020 King of the Whip showdown, and the fact that we’ve moved up to the big league and taken over this awesome venue for the day shows just how much this event has grown”, commented event organiser, Ryan van der Spuy.

King of the Whip has confirmed top SA motocross and freestyle motocross riders, Scotty Billett (FMX and last year’s King of the Whip winner), David Goosen (MX), Maddy Malan (MX), Nick de Wit (FMX) and Dallan Goldman (FMX), among others.

This is definitely something to look forward to, so prepare to be wowed by all the action.
