Painting Sunday yellow with The Maslow Sandton and Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label this March. Here, guests will get the opportunity to savour a sumptuous picnic fare,while sipping on champagne and lazing on the sprawling lawns, listening to live music.
At this installment of The Maslow’s famous Social Sunday, guests will receive a picnic basket filled with treats and will also be able tuck into an array of beautifully prepared hot dishes and snacks from the Harvest Table.
In the basket, there are chicken wraps with pineapple and pesto cheese, as well as a selection of Cape cheeses with fig preserves and Melba toast.
The Harvest Table is decked with sticky pork ribs, grilled fish goujons, crispy onion rings, mini pies and mine wors rolls amongst other delights.
For dessert, there are churros dipped in chocolate and mini red velvet doughnuts.

Fine Wine Evening is an oppurtunity to do a wine tasting with wine connoisseurs Andrea Mullineux and her husband Chris. They’ve been the Platter Winery of the Year winners twice in four years. Andrea was the Wine Enthusiast International Winemaker of the Year 2016 and is a member of the prestigious Cape Winemakers Guild (CWG). Plus, they were awarded the highest score ever from Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate for a South African wine and MW, Tim Atkin, sees them as one of South Africa’s “First Growths”.
Based in Riebeek Kasteel in the Swartland, their second venture - Leeu Passant - is based in Franschhoek exploring vineyards more far afield including South Africa’s oldest red wine producing blocks.
Once a year, they release tiny quantities of their Mullineux Single Terroir wines - Chenin Blanc and Syrah made on unique, ancient soils. This evening will explore the latest Single Terroir releases, allow you to taste some older vintages and, later in the evening, give you an opportunity to taste their Leeu Passant and Californian Fog Monster wines.
Enjoy a seated, tutored wine tasting followed by a harvest table dinner and the opportunity to taste additional wines.

Area #2: The Central Space
The central space can be opened in four directions, and offers the flexibility to expand the outside area into a larger seating space, or can be opened up completely into the main restaurant space. Alternatively, the space can be closed off for private functions and conference groups.
Area #3: The Main Area and Kitchen Concept
This area encapsulates the buffet, the banquette seating, and the freestanding table seating. The presentation of the buffet in the kitchen area serves a variety of cuisines from around the world and gives diners the opportunity to enjoy excellent food at reasonable prices.
The kitchen chefs prepare the majority of the dishes right in front of guests while working to present seven distinct culinary speciality sections in the restaurant. These sections include:
- A Harvest Table with a selection of salads, mezze’s, cold starters, sushi, soups and an Artisanal bread station.
- For meat lovers, the Rotisserie, Roasts and Grill section features mouthwatering ribs, boerewors, chicken wings, whole chicken and beef topside with sauces and accompaniments.
