Leash up the doggos, gather the kids, grab your face masks and hand sanitisers and head to the brand-new Ark Animal Walk Park in Chartwell for a wonderful cause. Before you get walking, register at the registration tables and be sure to arrive on time for your designated time slot. Other than the fresh air and beautiful outdoors, there will be lots of goodies on offer, both dog and human related. Also, don't forget to browse through their Charity Store for Woodrock. There will be incredible raffles amazing giveaways on the day!
This walk park will give the Ark Family the opportunity to continue being involved in their passion relating to animals. The park will take their passion and love for animals to new heights. As the saying goes, the best view comes after the hardest climb. This pandemic and national lockdown hasn't been kind to everyone, and this is their chance to get back on track doing what they love, supporting animals.
The new arm of Ark rescue and rehabilitation will be there welcoming you on the day. This is the perfect opportunity to meet the team.
Also, Mandela Day is a big high for Woodrock Animal Rescue. In keeping with a tradition, Woodrock will never give up on the voiceless. All funds raised during this launch and Mandela Day initiative will support Woodrock Animal Rescue in saving dog moms and pups from a life of abuse and neglect.
Please note: In keeping with COVID-19 rules, they will be staggering groups of 50 walkers per time slot. Be sure to choose your hour accordingly. It is vital that you keep to your allocated time.

Tickets cost R67 per person, R30 per dog, and children under the age of 12 walk for FREE.
