After its wild success in Midrand and Rosebank, Starbucks is ready to reveal the location of its latest store in South Africa. The global coffee company which started in Seattle, USA in the early 70s is setting up shop in the newly developed Menlyn Maine in Pretoria.
The new store will have 250 square meters of leg room and will serve classic coffees, lattes and food. This Starbucks will also offer high speed Wi-Fi on demand. Starbucks South Africa's holding company, Taste Holdings will be creating jobs and uplifting communities with its Changing Lanes Programme. Changing Lanes is a job-readiness training programme positioned to bridge the gap between unemployed youth and work opportunities. The Pretoria location will be fitted with the latest Clover Brewing Systems which is paired with Starbuck's rare, small-lot Reserve Coffees to bring each brew to life in the most extraordinary way.
Menlyn Maine in Waterkloof Glen is opening in September 2016 and will be a mixture of office spaces, green living and retail stores.
