The Netflix And Chill Month Of Love Special

Document

Let the month of love come to your living room with these rocking shows from Netflix.

Queer Eye

It’s been fifteen years since the Emmy Award-winning series Queer Eye revolutionised reality television. The series returns to Netflix and is going global, introducing audiences around the world to a modern, aesthetic and diverse perspective as well as a brand new Fab Five: Antoni Porowski (Food & Wine), Bobby Berk (Interior Design), Karamo Brown (Culture), Jonathan Van Ness (Grooming) and Tan France (Fashion). This season Queer Eye trades its original New York setting for communities in and around Atlanta, Georgia. Our new Fab Five will forge relationships with men and women from a wide array of backgrounds and beliefs often contrary to their own, touching on everything from LGBTQ rights and social commentary to how to make the best farm-to-table guacamole and more!

When We First Met

Noah (Adam Devine) spends the perfect first night with Avery, the girl of his dreams, but gets relegated to the friend zone. He spends the next three years wondering what went wrong – until he gets the unexpected chance to travel back in time and alter that night – and his fate – over and over again. Will Noah ever get it right?

Love Per Square Foot

Love Per Square Foot is a quirky romantic comedy about a guy and a girl who enter a marriage of convenience to buy a flat and make space for themselves in Mumbai, the city of their dreams. In their journey to live independently and on their own terms, Sanjay Chaturvedi and Karina D’Souza are sometimes thwarted and sometimes enabled by their crazy families, colleagues, friends and exes. Love Per Square Foot is a light-hearted take on the millennial aspirations of two individuals who come together to find their place in the world and stumble upon love when they least expect it.

Irreplaceable You

This is the heart-warming, romantic story of Abbie and Sam, best friends since childhood who are engaged to be married, and whose tranquil New York lives come crashing down when Abbie receives an unexpected diagnosis. Faced with the prospect of an uncertain timeline, Abbie begins a touching and often humorous search for a new love to take care of Sam. Along the way, Abbie makes unlikely friendships with Myron (Christopher Walken), Kate (Kate McKinnon) and Mitch (Steve Coogan) whose one thing in common is that they focus on living, while they are dying. Ultimately, it asks the question, how do you say goodbye? Starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw (A Wrinkle in Time, Beauty & The Beast, Beyond the Lights, Black Mirror: San Junipero) and Michiel Huisman (The Age of Adaline, Game of Thrones), this show also stars Emmy Award®-winner Steve Coogan (Philomena, Alan Partridge), Academy Award®-winner Christopher Walken (Wedding Crashers, The Jungle Book), Emmy Award®-winner Kate McKinnon (SNL), Academy Award®-nominee Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook, Animal Kingdom), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta) and Tim Simons (Veep). Irreplaceable You is the feature directorial debut of Emmy Award®-winner, Stephanie Laing (Veep, Eastbound & Down, founder of PYPO.com); written by Bess Wohl; and produced by Jonathan Tropper (Kodachrome, This is Where I Leave You), Farah Abushwesha (The Last Photograph), Brian Robbins, Matt Kaplan (Before I Fall, You Get Me) and Laing.

Mute

Berlin, the future, but close enough to feel familiar: in this loud, often brutal city, Leo – unable to speak from a childhood accident – searches for his missing girlfriend, the love of his life, his salvation, through dark streets, frenzied plazas, and the full spectrum of the cities shadow-dwellers. As he seeks answers, Leo finds himself mixed up with Cactus Bill and Duck, a pair of irreverent US army surgeons on a mission all their own. This soulful sci-fi journey from film maker Duncan Jones (Moon, Source CodeWarcraft) imagines a world of strange currencies in which echoes of love and humanity are still worth listening to.

On Body And Soul

The Hungarian Oscar selection, ON BODY AND SOUL tells the story of when a man and woman meet while working at a slaughterhouse. They have the same dream every night. They meet as deer in the forest. Endre is the CFO and Mária is the precise quality inspector who has autistic behaviour. They are searching for the love that they have found as deer in their dreams, but it is more difficult in real life.
