What Is It?
Following the success of ‘Don Giovanni’ in 2017, Brooklyn Theatre returns to the outdoor amphitheatre of the NIROX Sculpture Park to present Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute‘. To assist their mission, they are given musical instruments enhanced with magical powers, which they deploy to conquer the trials and tribulations placed in their path towards a deeper understanding of true love and happiness.
The South African cast is joined by acclaimed international performers Martin Mairinger (Austria), Leah Manning (United States) and Seo Young Lee (South Korea).’The Magic Flute’ is presented in collaboration with Brooklyn Theatre as a part of the Johannesburg International Mozart Festival 2020.
