Mixed Cheese Pate

You will need


1 ½ cups of finely grated cheddar, gouda, mozzarella, emmenthaler
¼ cup Parmesan, grated
100g Feta finely crumbled (we used the one with black pepper corns)
¼ cup Parsley, chopped
¼ cup Toasted nuts of your choice, finely chopped
100g Cream cheese, plain or flavoured

How to make it

Stir all the cheeses together.
Mix it to achieve a consistency that you like – you can make it creamy or chunky.
Add the parsley and nuts.
Place on a piece of wax wrap, shape into a log and roll up like a cigar.
Place in the fridge until you want to use it.
Serve with Provita biscuits or freshly baked brown bread.


• If you don’t have fresh parsley on hand just add a pinch of dried parsley.
• If you like blue cheese, you can also crumble that in.
• Remove the cheese roll from the fridge about 20 minutes before serving to soften up a bit.
