Mexican Craft-makers’ Workshop At Henry George Gallery

If you like to get crafty, this event is for you! Bring the family and make some pretty cool Mexican-inspired items.

What Is It?

The Mexican Craft-makers’ Workshop is inspired by Mexican traditional craft. This workshop will be in conjunction with the Day of The Dead (Dia de los Muertos) where Mexicans celebrate their loved ones who have departed. You’ll be making Nichos frames (traditionally used as decorations to honour loved ones), Frida Kahlo-inspired floral wreaths, Calacas sitting skeletons and more! This workshop is for anyone who has a love of crafts. If craft-making isn’t your cup of tea, then you can check out the all-day Christmas Market on the Corner.

Where Is It?

The Henry George Gallery, 45 6th Street (Corner 3rd Avenue), Parkhurst, Johannesburg
