Makeup Revolution Expanding Their Range In SA

Document

Makeup Revolution seems to be expanding their range of products in South Africa and we’re here for it! We’re just waiting for that launch date to drop, so that we can start expanding our makeup collections!

If you’re like me, you’ve probably kept your eyes peeled on Makeup Revolution SA‘s Instagram page, waiting for the launch date of their new palettes to expand their SA range. And if you’re also like me, the replies of “SOOON” to the question “when are we getting the new range?” have only been leaving you even more stressed and unsatisfied. But, let me just take a step back for those who have no idea what Makeup Revolution is.

Makeup Revolution

Makeup Revolution (aka Revolution Makeup, Revolution or whatever else you choose to call it) is a British Beauty company that launched a limited collection of their products with Clicks in South Africa in August 2018. They’re 100% cruelty-free and, let’s face it, their palettes are simply out of this world! Don’t believe me? Just take a look at their galaxy themed palettes because they’re simply STUNNING!

Makeup Revolution

Recently, they’ve been teasing the products that will be added to their range at Clicks. They’re adding more of their Reloaded palettes, The new SophX palettes (yay for that bomb pigmentation!), Tammi Tropical Paradise palette, the Flawless Resurrection palette, the Imogenation palette, more highlighter palettes and the Conceal and Define Foundation. I’m literally sitting on the edge of my seat in anticipation!

Reasons to try Makeup Revolution

  • They’re super affordable! They offer high quality products at reasonable prices, so your makeup obsession doesn’t have to cripple your bank account, hooray! (I mean, where can you get a highly pigmented, 35 colour palette that’s not a dupe for R350?). So whether you’re a working woman or a student on a budget, this range works for you!
  • They stock a wide range of products! Unfortunately, we don’t have even half the products available in SA, but it’s okay. We’ll wait (cries in impatience).
  • The pigmentation! Okay, so some of the pricier products are more pigmented than the cheaper products, but the pigmentation is still great for the price. And thanks to the formulation, palettes have been praised for having zero to little fall-out, which a lot of makeup addicts will appreciate.
  • The Conceal and Define Foundation is mattifying and great for oil-prone skin and combination skin. It’s also very long-lasting and stays true to its 14-hour promise. A heads up though, women with dry skin have found it be too drying.

Makeup Revolution

So, fellow makeup addicts, it’s up to you whether you want to try it. The product range is available at select Clicks stores: Eastgate, Mall of Africa, Cresta Centre, The Glen, Northgate and Greenstone Mall. But if you can’t find the products here in Johannesburg and are willing to take a bit of a drive, they’re available at Menlyn Park, Centurion Centre, Table Bay Mall, Southdowns, Woodlands Boulevard, Brooklyn Mall and Mall at the Reeds in Pretoria.

Until the dates have been dropped, I’ll just sit here waiting with bated breath.
