What Is It?

Kevin Collins presents his new body of work at the Graham Modern & Contemporary Gallery in Bryanston. The exhibition, titled ‘Liminality’ showcases a series of biographic illustrations. Playing with ideas of dream, thought and reality, Kevin Collins will take you on a journey with this new set of illustrations.

“I paint what I am, which is really a positive, curious and highly personal (but I hope sufficiently universal for anyone to engage) journey. The small items that are embedded in my mind from years ago are still so vivid and vital although others, faded fragments,” Collins says of the work.

Kevin Collins has been working in the art industry since his training at Michaelis Art School at UCT in Cape Town during the late 1970s. ‘Liminality’ is definitely worth seeing, so whether you are a seasoned art connoisseur or a newcomer to the art world, don’t miss it!
