Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra Summer Season 2019


The Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra are wrapping up their summer season with two final concerts to be held at the Linder Auditorium in Parktown, Johannesburg. 

What Is It?

The renowned Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra will wrap up their series of summer concerts at the Linder Auditorium in Parktown on Wednesday, 13 March and Thursday, 14 March 2019. These final concerts will see Israeli-American conductor Daniel Boico making a return to the Johannesburg podium. He will be conducting Mendelssohn’s iconic Hebrides Overture and Sibelius’s towering Symphony No 2. The orchestra will also be joined by Russian pianist Olga Kern who will perform Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A Minor.

Wednesday, 13 March and Thursday, 14 March 2019 at 20:00.

The Linder Auditorium, WITS Education Campus, 27 St Andrews Rd, Parktown, Johannesburg.
