Introduction to Cheese Making Course


Become your very own cheese master at this introductory course to making soft cheeses. 

What Is It?

Have you always dreamed of making your very own delicious soft cheese at home? Join the Introduction to Cheese Making course at NFP The Home Brewer’s Shop in Emmarentia to learn how. Discover just how easy it is to whip up your own cheese at home, learning all the basics and some advanced tips. The course also covers sterilization methods, cultures and enzymes, types of milk, curds and whey, demonstration and making a sample cheese, the difference between soft and hard cheeses and storage for your cheese. NFP The Home Brewer’s Shop hosts these classes once monthly, but be sure to book your spot as soon as possible. Let’s get cheesy!

The course costs R600 per person excluding a cheese making starter kit, or R1100 per person with the kit.
