The Language of Colour Festival is the 48th Spring Rose Festival to be held at Ludwig’s Rose Farm. Come and marvel at the beauty of a million rose bushes in full bloom, appearing like an ocean of colour with an overwhelming fragrance this October.

You can expect floral installations, colour exhibitions by Midas Paint and talks on the psychology of colour and how we perceive it. Ludwig’s will also unveil their new rose – the Thuli Madonsela rose, named in honour of South Africa’s favourite Public Protector. This two day festival concludes with a sunset concert on the lawn. Relax on the dam shores while enjoying this intimate concert with friends and family.

The Rose Kitchen will be serving up breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea which includes a colourful macaron bar.
