Trails for Trunks 2024

Trails for Trunks is back! Join Big Red Barn to celebrate World Elephant Day weekend and support the rescued elephants at HERD! The event takes place on Saturday, 17 August 2024.

What Can I Expect From Trails for Trunks 2024?

Where: The Big Red Barn, Irene.
Time: Registration open at 07:00, starting time is 08:00.
Price: R200 per person.

Cycle Distances: 12km, 22km
Run Distances: 5km, 10km, 15km, 20km

Whether you’re up for a casual walk, a run or a bike ride, there’s something for everyone. And guess what? The first 100 people to sign up get an awesome goodie bag packed with treats – so get your tickets early!

They’ve got some cool prizes up for grabs on the day, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category and for the best dressed! Categories for Best Dressed include Solitary Bull, Elegant Ellie, Most Trunk-tactic Team and Little Tusker. There will be a small market and raffle, so don’t forget to bring some cash. Plus, because it’s a family-friendly day, everyone’s welcome – including your four-legged friends!
